American Turquoise Ring - Size 7.25

The Robin's egg blue of this non-stabilized, rare natural Pilot Mountain (NV) Turquoise Ring with a one-of-a-kind textured silver ring band is a modern twist on southwest-style jewelry. Turquoise, a birthstone for December, is highly regarded by Native Americans to be a healing stone, balancing mind, body and spirit.  

To create this texture on the ring band, I fuse the hand-cut sterling silver pieces to its base by using the heat of my torch, no solder. It is then finished using traditional metalsmithing fabrication techniques.
