Custom Jewelry Process

Looking to have a special piece of jewelry created from scratch or redesign an heirloom?

Whether its for an engagement, wedding, anniversary, birthday, or for yourself, I'd love to work with you to create that special, one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry that you will love.

Here's how custom jewelry process works:

 

STEP 1: INQUIRY FORM

Share your vision with me! Fill out my online inquiry form. Once submitted, I'll reach out to you within 1 business day to schedule your complimentary consultation. Plan on an 8-12 week timeline from start to finish.

STEP 2: CONSULTATION

The consultation can happen via video conference, phone call, or in-person at my store in Lafayette, CO. This is a meet-and-greet to where I get to know you and more about what you want. It also gives you an opportunity to have all your questions answered and we can start to discuss project details (i.e. budget, materials, timeline).

STEP 3: DESIGN & SOURCING

A preliminary design fee is collected and I start to design your piece. I'll share sketches, metal options, and gemstones for you to review and approve as we finalize the design and the materials/gemstones to be used.

STEP 4: CRAFTMANSHIP & DELIVERY

Once you approve the design, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin production. I'll share every step of the process with you, including CAD renderings, wax models, resin samples, and images. Once completed, the remaining balance is due. You may pick up your piece in person at my store or it will be shipped to you via UPS with insurance.
