Modern with a touch of rustic design, these large disc necklaces in sterling silver, oxidized silver and 18K gold, or 14K gold vermeil are a great everyday necklace worn solo or layered with other necklaces.

My Process:

To create my unique metal textures, I use a 20-step process which involves using heat from my torch (no solder) to fuse the hand-cut silver pieces to its base. For the mixed metal design, I then solder the 22K gold onto the sterling silver base. A patina is applied and hand polished to get the desired finish. For the 14K gold vermeil, once the pendant is made in sterling silver, it gets a heavy layer of 14K gold, which is 2.5-times thicker than gold plating. This results in better durability of the finish.
