A modern take on birthstone jewelry, this genuine garnet and sterling silver pendant necklace makes a special gift for loved one who has a January birthday.

Model image shows her wearing the same necklace but with a different stone; this shows an example of size/scale.

My Process:

To create my unique metal textures, I use a 20-step process which involves using heat from my torch (no solder) to fuse the hand-cut silver pieces to its base.  I then solder the tube setting for the stone.  After the patina application and polishing the pendant by hand, the stone is carefully set to ensure durability.
